My monte carlo is 4 months old and was wax guarded. Lately i'v noticed very fine lines or scraches in direct sunlight. Anyone else had this problem. Its red & black if that helps.

what are you washing the car with?
If you are going to car washes, then you'll always get scratches, irrespective of what protection you have on the car unfortunately.
The only way around it is to wash yourself, with clean bucket, and proper cleaning cloth and microfibre..
Check out the detailing forums (detail garage, detail paradise), waxit products etc...

I'm using a microfibre sponge, ph neutral wash and then chamois that cost me $25. So i just don't get it. Going back to dealer tomorrow to give them a look. Already had the waxguard redone on bonnet.Comment
